PANA has always maintained that self-regulation is a better form of check and balance as opposed to government controls. As proof to this, PANA is one of the tripartite signatories which established the Ad Standards Council (ASC), an independent industry body responsible for content regulation.
Actively involved in the development and strict implementation of the ASC Code of Ethics, Rules and Regulation, adherence to this is a condition for PANA membership. As a PANA member, you get to receive ASC circulars and advise on updated guidelines and industry announcements as well. We can also conduct PANA session with ASC for your team to have a better appreciation on PANA and ASC’s role in the industry’s self-regulation, benefits of being a PANA member to ASC, familiarization of process and provisions of ASC and more.
