This report explores how Filipino Prosumers view money, financial institutions, and wealth-building. The findings reveal a highly engaged consumer segment that saves diligently, researches carefully, and actively seeks financial security. Yet while adoption of financial products and services continues to grow, trust has not kept pace. Many consumers remain cautious, viewing financial systems as something to navigate carefully rather than rely on fully.
At the heart of these behaviors are enduring Filipino values such as diskarte (resourcefulness), bahala na (courage amid uncertainty), and malasakit (care for family and loved ones). These values continue to shape financial decisions in a rapidly modernizing world.
Rather than provide simple answers, this report invites brands and institutions to ask better questions about trust, relevance, and human-centered design. We hope these insights help organizations across industries build stronger, more meaningful relationships with Filipino consumers.
