Manila, Philippines—August 25, 2015 – Teleperformance, the world’s leading provider of outsourced customer experience management services, recently received the Platinum Partner Award from the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City.
Teleperformance was recognized for its unwavering support to PRC in uplifting the lives of the most vulnerable Filipinos. In 2014, more than one million pesos was donated by Teleperformance, through its Citizen of the World (COTW) foundation, to help aid the rehabilitation programs for Typhoon Yolanda victims in Visayas and some parts of Mindanao.
Aside from cash donations given by the company, Teleperformance employees, clients, business partners and Teleperformance subsidiaries in other countries also donated cash and relief items through COTW.
With the slogan, “Always First. Always Ready. Always There,” PRC is constantly at the forefront of relief operations for indigent Filipinos in times of natural calamities and man-made disasters. For its part, Teleperformance played an active role in PRC’s endeavor of helping calamity survivors move on with their lives by bringing relief and bringing back normalcy in their communities.
On behalf of Teleperformance, COTW Vice President Tracy Gannaban received the Platinum Partner Award from PRC Chairman Richard Gordon, together with Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang and Rizal Chapter Board of Directors and Treasurer Pilar Tan Lee.
Teleperformance Philippines continues to promote employee volunteerism among its 41,000 employees to support the company’s CSR activities, including house builds, tree planting, river clean ups, blood donation drives, relief operations, care for the sick and the elderly, and other community enrichment programs.
