Manila, Philippines—March 17, 2015 – Teleperformance, the world’s leading provider of outsourced customer experience management services, sponsored the recently concluded “ScholaRun,” a fund-raising running event organized by the American Chamber of Commerce Foundation (AmCham) at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
Now on its fourth year, ScholaRun is aimed at raising funds for AmCham Foundation’s scholarship programs for underprivileged high school and college students. This year, Amcham and Teleperformance hope to send 100 scholars to school.
Teleperformance, through its corporate social responsibility arm Citizen of the World (COTW), continuously supports the goal of AmCham Foundation in helping deserving yet underprivileged students in the Philippines to secure a better future through education.
Marilyn Ventenilla, regional communications and marketing director of Teleperformance Philippines, expressed, “for three years in a row, Teleperformance has been actively participating in the AmCham Scholarun as we share the common goal of sending a deserving kid to school and this serves as an inspiration for us to run for them every year.”
The charity run, which is divided into 10K, 5K, and 3K distance categories, gathered over 3,000 running enthusiast from various industries and other AmCham-affiliated organizations.
