The Home Development Mutual Fund, more commonly known as Pag-IBIG, is expected to keep its home loan interest rates unchanged for the remainder of the year, supported by steady loan collection performance.

In a recent interview with The Philippine STAR, Pag-IBIG CEO Marilene Acosta stated that current rates are likely to remain after June.

“Chances are, it will be the same. Normally, our collection performance has a huge impact, and so far, it’s holding steady,” Acosta explained.

Pag-IBIG reported a record-high performing loan ratio of 93.72 percent last year, reflecting strong payment behavior among its members.
