Congratulations to all the Advertising Standards Council (ASC) board members who were inducted by Sebastian Frederick Baquiran, President and COO – UNILAB, Inc. last May 20, 2021. This year’s chair is PANA in the person of Blen Fernando.

“With recent developments, the  Ad Standards Council must continue to test, adjust and evolve as the self-regulatory organization of the marketing and communications industry.  We must further build people competencies and strengthen our processes to  addressing the needs of our members with consistency and timeliness. We continue to collaborate with relevant government  agencies in the spirit of consumer protection, our purpose. There is still much to be done to bring the ASC to be the standard in its work here and abroad. One step at a time, we will get there without forgetting to remain  responsible and faithful to truth, fairness, decency and honest.”

We wish ASC enduring energy and grit in its continuing responsibility to screen and regulate content of all types of advertising across all platforms.
