TJ Parpan, Managing Director of DentsuINDIO, shared his expertise on QR Codes. QR Codes or Quick Response Codes are similar to bar codes but can store more data in less space. When scanned with a Smartphone, the QR code can link to your company’s website/social media accounts and many other functions. According to Parpan there are varied range of executions that can be done enabling interaction with consumers through QR Codes. If that is not enough reason to consider utilizing this technology for your brand, generating your own QR Code is free as there are many QR code generators on the Internet.
Cara Maglapus, Business Development Head of 3D VIZION Corp, shared a different perspective on Digital Out of Home Advertising. 3D Digital Display or “3D without 3D glasses” is another technology-driven solution to the following challenges: cost-effectiveness, banner blindness, and rising above the clutter. 3D Digital Display has the “Wow! Factor” that can captivate audience and eventually trigger impulse buying, achieve top-of-mind brand recall, drive purchase intent and push sales.
GRUPO LUMINA President Mart Miranda shed light on the importance of presentation marketing. He showed how projection has evolved from the overhead projector to the multi-platform or mix of projection and video display. GRUPO LUMINA is the first Philippine company dedicated to 3D mapping, Stereoscopic 3D, projection mapping in buildings or other 3D surface and other services for live events and staging.
