2018 PANAta Awards Announces Finalists
The Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) is all set to stage the new PANAta Awards 2018 on July 20, 2018 at the Discovery Primea Suites, Makati City.
PANAta Awards is the country’s premier annual recognition program for effective communication materials. It is where brands are awarded because their campaigns reflect excellent marketing and brand-strengthening practices.
In celebration of PANA’s 60th year, the PANAta Awards 2018 has transformed from marketing effectiveness awards to brand builder awards. Along with this major shift is to give special recognition to the talented people and organizations behind successful brands.
The new PANAta is categorized in two major parts: Brand Builders Awards and People’s Choice Awards. Under Brand Builder Awards are Excellence in Marketing Innovation, Excellence in Brand CSR, Excellence in Brand Positioning, Excellence in Customer Empowerment, Excellence in Internal Communications, Brand Bravery, Brand Rookie of the Year and Brand Builder of the Year. Under People’s Choice Category are Excellence in Brand CSR, Excellence in Brand Positioning and Excellence in Customer Empowerment.
A total of 98 entries were submitted this year and 74 were qualified as finalists. Entries for the Brand Builder Awards are judged on four criteria: challenge for 20 points, strategy for 25 points, execution for 25 points and results for 30 points. Meanwhile, all shortlisted entries are qualified for the People’s Choice Awards. Shortlisted entries will be uploaded to PANA website and Facebook page for public voting. This will determine the consumer’s choice per category.
The Grand PANAta Award remains the highlight of the night. This award is given by the jury to campaigns who have executed the most game-changing, innovative and effective strategies within the year of competition. Only those campaigns who have won GOLD in both Brand Builder Awards and People’s choice are eligible to win the Grand PANAta.
